Who We AreWith three campuses along Colorado s Front Range, Front Range CommunityCollege (FRCC) is the state s largest community college. We enroll close to28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a varietyof cultural and recreational activities.
Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-yearuniversities. FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that preparestudents for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earningcollege credit without having to pay college tuition. And we were recentlyranked as one of the Top Online Colleges in the country by Newsweek.

Who You AreAs a part-time instructor in the Concurrent Enrollment Program you provideinstruction in college-level Public Speaking and/or InterpersonalCommunication in the high school programs. Course assignments will be madebased on experience.
You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to developinnovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population ofstudents. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilizetechnology and effective teaching strategies to develop students criticalthinking skills.
You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meetthe needs of the College.
SELECTION PROCESS: Position will remain open until filled with a strong needfor the Spring 2024 semester.
Preliminary screening will be made on the basis of completed applicationpackage submitted by candidate. Completed application package includes:
A resume;A letter of interest;A copy of official transcripts;A one-page statement of your teaching philosophy; andA list of courses and the semesters you have taught.
Please note: This is an on-campus position and includes travel to local highschools.

BENEFITS: Part-Time Instructors will have their hours measured on an annualbasis to determine eligibility to enroll in medical health insurance only forthe following benefit period. REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE:
Master s degree in one of several related degrees listed below. Also allowed,a Master s degree in any field, plus 18 graduate credits in one of the relateddegrees listed below.
Related degree: Communication, Communication & Rhetoric, CommunicationStudies, Human Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Mass Communication,Organizational Communication, Public Communication, Speech Communication, orJournalism.
