Work involves assistance in development of Microsoft.NET technology-based client/server and web applications and reporting work. Participates in the development of maintenance and enhancements of the existing application and writes process documentation. Works closely with technical staff to conduct analysis and troubleshooting on the issues. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.Work HoursWork Hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM, 40-hour week, Monday Friday. Occasionally work additional hours on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Hours may change based on business need.Teleworking may be considered if certain working conditions are met. The candidate must have permanent residency within the state of Texas and must be able to meet in office requirements, which can vary among different sections (i.e. report to office 1-3days/week, etc.). Travel reimbursements are not provided for teleworking.Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited four-year college or university, or a recent graduate within one year with major in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Academic experience or Project related experience in the design and coding of web applications utilizing Microsoft.NET, Javascript and related front-end technologies. Academic experience or Project related experience in Web development technologies and platforms (ie. Microsoft .NET, C#, Relational Databases like SQL Server)Preferred Qualifications Experience with modern JavaScript Experience in application design applications including HTML5, CSS3 and the Bootstrap framework.In this role you will: Assists in developing routine code using one Microsoft.Net, C#, SQL Server and related technologies based on business requirements. May perform unit and peer testing, documents defects. Assists in analyzing software problems and solutions. Adheres to established architecture, design coding standards. Assists in performing technical analysis to define specifications for current or proposed software applications. Prepares detailed diagrams/documentation to capture applicatio workflow logic. Participates in Agile Scrum team status, planning, and review sessions. Participates in structured peer reviews/walkthroughs.
