  General Summary:

  Pension Program Management:

  Manage the LSA (DB Plan) & LPA (DC Plan) for all Qualcomm legal entities.

  Partner with finance/accounting in managing pension funds with partnering bank and accounts in the Bureau of Labor Insurance.

  Lead/support Pension committee for LSA with regular cadence and reporting along with administering changes to pension committee members (if any).

  Partner Global Benefit team & pension committee in maintaining a mission statement and investment philosophy.

  Provide technical review of applicable employee communications, including legally required notifications and disclosures.

  Manage pension due diligence and implementation related to acquisitions.

  Remain current on pension legislation and trends.

  Benefit design & vendor oversight:

  Support the design of various benefits programs like Insurance, Pensions, Reimbursements, and Leave policies through market benchmarking, and analysis of utilization and employee feedback.

  Support vendor selection, stewardship and resolution of escalated issues.

  Assist People Solutions team in responding to escalated employee inquiries.

  Collaborate with other HR, Finance and Legal teams to support audits & reporting.

  Partner with nurses to conceptualize, develop and manage various wellness activities.

  Monitor vacation and vacation match utilization and support initiatives to minimize related expense.

  Ensure compliance of all benefits policies & practices with statutory guidelines as well as Qualcomm defined global standards.

  Foster industry peer relationships to gain better market intelligence.

  Compensation design & administration:

  Project management of salary analysis and ad-hoc compensation studies, including benchmarking and internal parity analysis, including new hires, transfers, and retention offers and share outcomes of the analysis and findings.

  Project management of completion of external compensation and benefits surveys.

  Interpret and explain benchmarking results and employee pay based on position within range and internal parity based on experience.

  Evaluate job based on employee’s roles/responsibilities and ensure pay is appropriate.

  Help field employee inquiries, provide coaching/counseling on compensation, and respond to escalated compensation issues.

  Collaborate with other team members to conduct ad-hoc salary analysis as requested by the business.

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  Bachelor's degree and at least 3-4 years of Business, Human Resources, or related work experience

  2+ years experience with LSA and LPA plans in a corporate setting

  Proficiency in Taiwan pension legislation

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  3–4 years experience in the domain compensation and benefits

  2+ years experience with corporate wellbeing programs

  Proficient in MS Office applications like Excel, Power point and Word

  Ability to work with large sets of data.

  Strong analytical skills, with good eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy
