ABOUT THE ROLE
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented Commissioning Editor who is passionate about crafts and the countryside. As part of a sharp and buzzy features team, the Commissioning Editor will come up with and develop dynamic and original ideas, focusing on artisans, for all platforms, print and digital. This includes pitching, writing briefs, liaising with the art desk and looking after the department admin. It will also include some writing and editing. The position requires a motivated self-starter and team-player, who is happy to help out as required. Join us at a vital time in our evolution as a brand.
ABOUT YOU
Proven ability to write and edit brilliant content and publish across platforms Demonstrable experience working in a similar role A passion for crafts and rural businesses Strong visual skills, with an ability to conceive 360o packages, from videos to events A committed team player Ability to build strong working relationships with PRs and publishers An eye for new ideas and innovation, including spotting commercial opportunities and brand collaboration Ability to forge and maintain excellent working relationships with all teams across the Homes' hub, including the Country Living Marketplace and commercial teams Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines Exceptional organisational skillsWHAT WE OFFER
