Job Description

　　A paint manufacturing company is looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for the sales and Field Technical Services team in the Mid-West region. This individual will be strategic and tactical when overseeing the sales strategy and customer care of the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Daily responsibilities include management of the field technical services team, contract negotiation, and customer care. The Commercial Manager will have around 5-7 people reporting into them. The role is an exempt, permanent position in Lansing, IL or Columbus, OH.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

　　* 10+ years of experience in OEM Coating sales and Field Technical Service leadership

　　* Able to create strategic sales plans to reach company goals

　　* Experience in the coating industry (preferable automotive coating) - adhesives, color, dyes, chemical components

　　* Proven ability to collaborate with others and be hands-on in your leadership approach

　　* Excellent communication skills * Experience in automotive coatings

　　* Chemistry background null
