  Description

  The Mental Health Patient Monitor works with other team caregivers of inpatient unit staff to provide patient care in a variety of job duties, and under the direct supervision of the RN, or the Mental Health Professional Therapist / Social Worker, or the inpatient unit Manager or Director.

  Required qualifications:

  upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License.

  upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

  1 year in an acute or residential inpatient psychiatric facility in a similar role. Applicable internship or practicum experience may be applied towards required years of experience.

  Preferred qualifications:

  Bachelor's Degree in Social Science fields (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or other related field).

  Adult inpatient psych unit: Experience in an adult psychiatric environment.
