  Amentum has an opportunity for a Human Resource Manager to join our team

  We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to assist the HR Director in leading the IA HR team and contribute to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, and the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.

  Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:

  Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.

  Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee recruitment life cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, and provide input on efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

  Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies, and fostering a positive work environment.

  Compensation: Thorough understanding, manage labor classifications, internal and external audits, and creative solutions.

  HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, as well as Service Contract Act (SCA) knowledge.

  HR Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, providing regular reports to leadership.

  Lead the IA New Hire Orientation Process / Schedule.

  Backup the HR Director as needed.

  The Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows:

  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.

  Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar management role.

  In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.

  Strong leadership and people management skills.

  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  Ability to think strategically and implement innovative HR solutions.

  Proficient in HRIS and other relevant software.

  Physical Demands:

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects office equipment; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to Lift up to 70 pounds, bend, reach, carry, stoop, kneel, climb, etc.Work Environment:

  This position is remote with occasional travel as needed.
