Outpatient Clinical Dietitian Opportunity; Join our Experienced Dietitian Team!
You have a purpose with unique talents and NOW is the time to use them with our experienced & supportive Dietitian team.
Your teaching, coaching and group presentation skills will be put to best use with a diverse staff at our growing Outpatient Chronic Care Center!
This Full Time position joins the St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center for Outpatient care a majority of the week. You will also be a Diabetes Education team member at our Chronic Care Center and then providing some hospital inpatient dietetic services. You will be part of our 3 Full Time Dietitian team who are supportive of each other and who keep each other up to date with best care protocols. Our highly experienced Dietitians provide services to Med Surg, Infusion, Radiation Oncology, Dialysis, Long Term Care, Chronic Care Center with Wound Care & Diabetes, and Community Education. We make impactful improvements to our patient’s lives and with your passion for Nutrition and Dietetics, you will too!
Job Type:
Full-time position working Monday through Friday with a rotating On Call for Weekends and Holidays.
Job Requirements:
• Education:
o Graduate of an accredited dietetic program (B.S., B.A., or M.A. in Nutritional Sciences, Community Nutrition, or Dietetics)
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
o Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition Dietetics and Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Iowa within 6 months.
o Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
o Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Iowa.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
o Excellent Group Facilitation skills; small groups, large groups and community presentations.
o Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal communication skills.
o Knowledge of current Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process.
o Effective organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and adaptability to changing priorities to meet demands.
o Competency to effectively use Windows-based business software applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
