  Position Description:

  The CIO Advisory Director will work with existing and new clients in development and positioning of services with the support of technology experts across the company. The Director will track, develop new business opportunities, meet and present to CIO/Technology customers, and close business opportunities to grow the advisory practice.

  This role can be performed in Pittsburgh, Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, and Washington, DC.

  Your future duties and responsibilities:

  Drive the development of awareness of CGI’s CIO Advisory services by collaborating with CGI Marketing and Communications to maintain a personal presence in the innovation domains and external associations. The external presence shall include speaking engagements, a social media presence and direct engagement with existing and prospective customers, and production of strategic marketing collateral (e.g., white papers, factsheets, etc.).-Support CGI’s efforts to harness internal and external innovations and bring them to our customers. Collaborate with our Emerging Technology Practice on “next” technologies that can be demonstrated by CGI and develop content and a campaign to bring CIO innovative IT Services

  Deliver client engagements and contribute to a high level of client satisfaction and on-time/on budget deliveryRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with approximately 10 years of work experience in the Management Consulting - IT consulting field

  • Experience with technology services sales and record of accomplishment of 3 successful advisory deals. Experience in writing technical proposals and successfully closing deals.

  • Experience leading teams of technology and emerging technology domain experts

  • Keep up to date with market changes, ability to speak fluently about them and point out implications and opportunities for CGI.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be proficient developing and delivering presentations on solution and business case/value to large groups of Federal IT executives and managers.

  • Self-directed style

  • Ability to clearly articulate technology concepts to a business audience

  • Strong public speaking and other forms of media expertise

  CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $134,500 - $210,300.
