What You’ll Do:
Maintain mammalian cell culture lines, clone selections, transfections
Create cell line banks.
Prepare media and other cell culture reagents.
Perform strong aseptic techniques Exposure to operating and programming laboratory automation and liquid handling
Update and maintain biological inventories.
Perform experiment documentation (ELNs).
Perform bioassays, biochemical assays, PBMC isolation
Data analysis, presentation of data
Assist in any troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
Interact professionally with both internal and external clients
Maintain a high level knowledge of various aspects of laboratory operations
Receive tasks and information from scientist in charge regarding changes in processes, priorities, workflow, safety requirements or other information.
Meetings regularly with the scientist in charge to discuss progress, upcoming work changes, and any new items
Communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts
Remain flexible to ever-changing needs in a positive and professional manner
What You’ll Need:
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Biology or related discipline
2-4 years of science industry or research experience
Mammalian cell culture
Biochemical and cell-based assay
Strong interpersonal skills – written and oral communication, relationship building, being approachable, demonstrate initiative, adaptable, and project a positive attitude
Must have an excellent foundation in technical problem solving to assist in trouble shooting, samples management, shipping, ordering, equipment or logistical issues
