The Calibration Technician I that supports our CalibrationSolutions business has direct responsibility for the build and test ofworld-class precision instruments used in monitoring or calibratinglife-critical instruments or processes.Key Job Responsibilities:Under moderate supervision, perform routine testing and inspection ofelectronic and mechanical assemblies.Follow established protocols and technical specifications to ensure accurateand precise measurements.Calibrate, repair, trouble shoot, and perform routine maintenance ofassembled product.Generate calibration certificates for calibrated product and assign product tocustomer accounts.Adhere to relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, andcompany procedures during calibration activitiesMaintain calibration databases including Updating calibration databases orsoftware systems to reflect accurate instrument status and calibrationintervals.Set up, operate, and maintain standard test equipment and related fixtures.Maintain detailed records of calibration procedures, results, andequipment statusBuild and assemble product following standard procedures or verbalinstruction.Participate in developing, implementing, and improving proceduresFollow company policy and health and safety guidelines.Qualifications/Education:High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)Additional technical education or certification in calibration, metrology,or related field is desirable.One-year formal electronics technical training or 2 years related workexperience.Able to read and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings, layouts,manuals, and procedures.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot instrumentmalfunctionsExperience using hand tools, electronic instrumentationAdvanced soldering skills.Proficient with Excel and other software databases.Mesa Labs is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.Mesa Labs prohibits unlawful discrimination and harassment against applicantsor employees based on age, race, sex, color, religion, creed,national origin or ancestry, disability, military status, sexualorientation, or any other status protected by applicable state or local law.Please note that Mesa Labs conducts criminal background checks upon offeraccep
