President Office
President office serves as the central hub for executive decision-making and strategic direction.
It focuses on ensuring the alignment of company operations with its long-term goals, overseeing executive communications, and facilitating cross-department collaboration.
Responsibilities
At Microsoft Japan, we are dedicated to fostering business growth and enhancing our organizational and business competencies. We are looking for a dynamic Business Transformation Lead, a strategic thinker with a proactive approach, eager to collaborate, and skilled at inspiring others to exceed their goals. This individual will play a crucial role in driving business growth.
1.Transformation Planning:
Collaborate with leadership to devise and implement comprehensive strategies for business transformation and change management. This includes a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, partnership opportunities, competitive analysis, and internal challenges to prioritize company-wide initiatives and aid leaders in formulating high-priority projects
2.Program Excellence and Evaluation:
In transformation projects, it is crucial to clearly identify early success stories and disseminate them appropriately. The Business Transformation Lead will pinpoint potential early successes, intensively support their achievement, define what success looks like, and plan and execute communications to share these successes as best practices with stakeholders widely. They will also measure whether each initiative has appropriate goals and KPIs set, and is being planned and executed effectively, visualizing success levels to guide the initiative owners towards the right activities.
3.Transformation Program Management:
Leads a portfolio of projects including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for highly complex programs. Communicates the program status and risk to relevant stakeholders and holds them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes. Establishes objectives and success criteria for the project in an inclusive, collaborative manner with all stakeholders.
4.Program Evaluation and Improvement:
Leads the defining and tracking of success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]), such as quality, adoption, usage, impact, and effectiveness for the program.
5.Communication Plan and execution:
Drives internal communications strategy for the organization and develop communications for executive, manager-level, and organization-wide audiences.
6.Lead high impact/urgent project:
As a member of the President Office, you will be responsible for managing and supporting projects related to initiatives such as transformation, change management, and culture that should be promoted by the President Office.
Qualifications
Experience required.
Experience in Sales and Executive engagement
Experience with Change Management within a large enterprise or equivalent experience
Consulting experience in a related field, demonstrating effective problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
Problem solving, project management skills and demonstrated track record delivering complex projects
Experience and knowledge of change management and operating model principles and methodologies
Cross-team collaboration, with proven ability to work across organizations and reporting boundaries to get things done.
Proven thought leader with executive presence, including ability to hold internal/external CXO level discussions, exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent work experience required. MBA degree preferred but not required.
