Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Analyst for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Develop and implement strategic solutions and enhancements to ensure client satisfaction and data quality, helping clients research and understand secured and unsecured liquidity usage drivers during Business as Usual (BAU) and under stress scenarios. Serve as a primary point of contact for matters relating to the framework, including data, framework logic and calculation details, reporting tools and reporting. Contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflows. Document operational procedures, process large amount of data, assess database performance, and identify complex problems. Review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems with the ability to identify data required, assess time & effort required and establish a project plan. Design and analyze Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) and Pre-Settlement Exposure (PSE) calculation drivers, and provide corresponding propositions based on data analysis results. Serve as a primary liaison and business advisor with funding desks to drive optimal financial resource management and advice on the impact of existing and new regulations and/or Citi policy and its ensuing impact to trading activities. Conduct monthly analysis and present findings to senior stakeholders on the efforts of remediating data quality issues in the calculation and reporting with regards to counterparty exposure, collateral, and liquidity management. Assist in the collateral mobilization and optimizations efforts by aligning business needs to overall technology and data strategies of the firm. Research and interpret factual information, identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues, and formulate recommendations on policies and procedures. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Finance or related field, and 3 years of experience as a Data Analytics Senior Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Senior Analyst, or related position involving conducting data analysis and data visualization. 3 years of experience must include: Microsoft Suite Tools to perform data analysis, and create presentations and reporting materials; Data and Strategy Optimization; Conducting periodic back-testing on results to validate accuracy of data input; Presenting technical information to audiences; and Project management. 2 years of experience must include: Python for data analysis of large data sets; Tableau for data analysis and data visualization; and Knowledge of Basel capital requirements.
