  This opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount). Interested candidates must be currently eligible to work in the US AND must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future.” HP, Inc. will not provide any assistance or sign documentation in support of immigration sponsorship including Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT)

Our intern program is intended to enhance your overall learning experience, give you an opportunity to make an impact, have some fun, and meet great people along the way.

  Join us for a 12-week paid summer internship designed to let you apply your classroom learnings to real world challenges. Our internships have a thoughtful balance of networking, executive speakers, community involvement, big meaty projects (no paper filing here!) and fun!

  Project description

  Support strategic product initiatives with analysis, synthesis of data from multiple sources (data warehouse, surveys, research), performance reporting, and development of customer insights.

  Partner with our product team to develop actionable insights to drive services growth, adoption, retention, engagement, and/or monetization.

  Apply your expertise in analytics, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with both our service.

  Education and Experience Required

  Currently enrolled in a Master level and returning to school following the internship.Preferred Majors:

  Computer Science

  Data Science

  Hard Skills

  Working knowledge of one or more data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Thoughtspot, Google Analytics, or Adobe analytics.

  Strong SQL coding skills.

  Working knowledge of Python.

  Experience with advanced modeling techniques such as logistic regression, generalized linear models, decision trees, factor analysis, cluster analysis, survival analysis, etc.

  Soft Skills

  Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to tell stories with data.

  Strong collaboration skills.

  Proven self-starter, consistently demonstrating initiative.

  You must be enrolled in a university program working towards a Masters.

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $28 -- $33hourly . Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
