  JOB PURPOSE

If you are interested in effectively reducing the flow of counterfeit products and to work closely with the government to protect Unilever’s business interests. then this role is just for you!

  WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Handles government related Challenges.

  • Responsible for maintaining good relations with the government officials.

  • Direct the influencing of policy and legislation.

  • Proactively build Unilever’s reputation with policymakers.

  •Monitor legislative developments and identify emerging issues to the company.

  •Successful resolution of issues requiring work with many individuals and organizations both internally and externally

  • Represent Unilever in industry association and participate in external events.

  •Provide strategic counsel to Brand Protection officers on business goals with political realities to address them

  •Work closely with CD, Supply Chain & Marketing department and support the team in Government relations issues. Implement the government relation projects / programs.

  WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  Experiences & Qualifications

  +2 years of experience in government legislative roles.

  Experience working with risk control offices/ anti counterfeit offices.

  Skills

  Ability to maintain good relations with the government officials.

  Ability to handle and work with local people.

  Understand and work within Unilever policies and guidelines.

  Strong analytical skills.

  Strong proficiency of both Arabic & English language.
