We are seeking an Behavior and Academic Coach to support students within the Alternative Learning Center (ALC) in West Toledo. Under direction of the classroom teacher, the ALC Behavioral and Academic Coach provides primary support to the classroom teacher in reinforcing and monitoring the daily educational program and behavior plans for students with serious emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, and other varied disabilities. RequirementsHigh School Diploma required -- Associate Degree or higherpreferred (pay is contingent on education and experience)License for Educational Aide or ability to obtain licenseExperience working with students with disabilities preferredCertification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) required and will be providedExperience with Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports(PBIS) preferredDetailsLong term-school year25-30 hours per weekEnrollment in School/State retirement SystemHourly rate: $15 - $18 depending on experience
