As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. You will be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. In addition, you will support the development and implementation of accounting policies. In addition, you will take part in compliance, review schedules for the reporting processes, and interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits. This very involved position works to produce Cash Flow projections, Budgets, and Financial Statements. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Support capital lease and monthly payment schedules

　　Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Play a role in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

　　Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as needed

　　Conduct month end close, journal entries, without supervision

　　Keep up fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Report on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Be responsible for analysis of income statements and balance sheets and communicate findings to management

　　Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments

　　Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP Requirements - BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Expertise in Construction Accounting

　　Comprehensive knowledge of construction

　　Construction Industry experience

　　Construction Industry Experience experience preferred

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Strong attention to detail

　　Recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Skilled with ERP systems

　　Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

　　Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
