Our growing healthcare client is seeking an Accounting Manager with strong operations experience to join their team! The Accounting Manager is crucial to the company and will be an integral part of the management team. This role will manage staff and handle core accounting tasks, and will also be a champion of the company culture.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations

• Supervise and foster the development of a team of accounting professionals

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements and reports

• Maintain interfaces with core systems such as Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Financial Reporting

• Oversee staff accounting and accounts payable for owned sites

• Support the general ledger in all aspects

• Ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards

• Manage accounts using various software programs

• Assist with audits and the development and evaluation of budgets

• Support the implementation of control systems within the organization

• Stay updated with changes in regulations and compile reports regarding compliance issues, standards, and accounting practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must.

• CPA is required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proven track record in Financial Reporting for multiple locations.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.

• Solid knowledge and experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries.

• Extensive experience in performing Month End Close procedures.

• Prior experience in the HealthCare Industry is highly desirable., but not required

• Strong supervisory management skills to lead and guide the team.
