POSITION SUMMARY:

　　The Accounting Manager will assist the Kornerstone Controller with month-end close and reporting, trend analyses summarizing potential problem areas and opportunities for improved profitability relative to monthly and annual forecasts. Help with the yearly financial statement audit. Must have a willingness to learn and grow as the company continues to grow and expand into new product lines.

　　DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Assist the controller with accounting functions to include:

　　Manage month-end close process

　　Financial reporting and analysis

　　ASC 606 knowledge/experience

　　Manage annual aud

　　Investment accounting

　　Reinsurance reports

　　Cash management

　　Fixed assets

　　Account Reconciliations

　　Comply with the internal and external reporting requirements in accordance with guidelines, format, and the time frame requested. Review reports with Managers and provide analysis as necessary.

　　Review and audit documents for completeness and accuracy.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

　　Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in accounting required

　　Audit knowledge is helpful

　　Detailed oriented

　　Desire to learn and grow in your career

　　Willing to work extra hours as needed to meet deadlines

　　Must be team oriented and have a collaborative work style

　　Critical thinking skills to perform needed analysis and provide useful financial reports

　　Must be able to interact with many levels of staff effectively communicating what is needed

　　COMPUTER SKILLS: Must be well-versed in all Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.

　　WORK ENVIRONMENT: Generally an office environment.
