Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for posting entries, verifying and reconciling accounts payable to financial reporting system, processing payments and/or assisting in preparation of billings and other financial reports.
· Perform routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records, primarily accounts payable functions.
· Respond to inquiries and contact other departments and/or vendors to resolve a variety of problems.
· Assist in performance of various clerical duties.
· Compute, classify and record numerical data to keep financial records accurate.
· Perform routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data.
· Compile spreadsheets to assist with accounting reports.
· Make bank deposits and perform banking duties for patients on a daily basis and maintain and reconcile bank accounts if needed.
· Assist in maintaining files, generate and send bills.
· Responsible for accounts payable processing
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous office, accounting or healthcare accounting experience preferred.
