The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology issearching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will beresponsible for inpatient clinical care at our Hyde Park campus andoutpatient care in our ambulatory clinics. Other duties will includeteaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarlyactivity. Appointees will be members of the obstetrics call group andmay also participate in Gynecology service if desired. Academic rank andcompensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) aredependent upon qualifications.

We especially welcome applicants with training and experience inGynecology (office gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, or familyplanning/complex contraception), Obstetrics (vaginal delivery of twins,higher order cesarean sections, and operative vaginal deliveries), andresident or medical student teaching.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have amedical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medicallicensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified oreligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
