Our main goal for the summer is to offer students paid practical experience in an industry relating to their field of study. This experience is valuable to students as a means of allowing them to experience how their studies are applied in the "real world", as work experience.
*This is a hybrid-only position open to students in the New England area. You will be required to work a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
*Bright Horizons will no longer submit employees or interns on F-1 visas to the annual H-1B lottery.
What you will be doing:
Perform a variety of IT administrative functions and support. Work closely with internal users, IT Development Resources, IT and Business Line of Business Management calls
Participate on teams using the latest technologies, best practices, and tools
Manage and maintain electronic files and hard copies
Compose memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations
Generate reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports
Schedule and coordinates appointments, meetings and conference
What we hope you will bring to the role:
Must be enrolled as either a full time or part time student entering sophomore, junior or senior year of a degree program, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technology related programs
Requires a high school diploma with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain a positive attitude; and solid customer service skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
Problem solving skills
Compensation Range:
The rate for this position is $30/hr.

Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
