Job Title: X-Ray Technologist

Job Description:

Seeking a medical professional to perform diagnostic imaging examinations. The ideal candidate is skilled in patient positioning, equipment operation, and radiation safety. This role is crucial in producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

A day to day in this role will include:

Update patient information in Athena EMR.

Provide excellent bedside care and explain procedures.

Follow doctor’s orders and scan information in PACS.

Maintain room cleanliness post-exams.

Obtain patient information for fluoroscopy procedures.

Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.

Perform routine Quality Control.

Hard Skills:

ARRT certification

Proficiency in Athena EMR and PACS

Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations

Work Environment/Shift:

Typical hours: Mon 7:30am-4pm, Tues 7:30am-2pm, Wed-Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm, Fri 7:30am-2:30pm

Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays (every 6 week)

Work with 7 doctors, up to 5 on shift at once

Collaborate with 1 other tech; supervisor available for clinical questions
