Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing the execution of workshop or aircraft cabin installation projects to achieve budget, safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets.
Main Responsibilities
Functional Supervisor of Team Leads, Technicians and Certifying Workshop Technicians
Able to lead a team up to 20 people
Assigns and verifies tasks upon completion. Ensures compliance to standard Jet Basel procedures, and practices to achieve our JBSL quality standards requirements
Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to ensure efficient and effective project execution
Ensures the jobs are performed on the project in accordance with the relevant documentation: Tier 4, Project Work Break Down structure and Earned Value
Excellent technical knowledge in his/her field
Liaises with the internal stakeholders such as PPM on escalation items / modifications and product development & prototyping.
In charge of the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area and holds Team Leads and others accountable
Ensures the team follows environmental and safety regulations
Efficiently evaluates time and tasks.
Cascade Company and Department communication downstream and feedback and or issues upstream
Frequent, flexible discussions with employees concerning Contribution, Engagement & Development and proactively mentors for successions planning and deputizing
Arrange team events
Reward & recognition for the team members
Perform the EPA assessment & dialogue for his/her team
Minimum Requirements
Meets requirements for Workshop Team Leader (Level I or II)
Demonstrate Leadership and conflict management skills.
Demonstrated budget and schedule experience and knowledge
Advanced knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance documentations
Familiar with aviation authorities (FOCA, EASA, FAA,..) procedures and processes
Demonstrated project management knowledge and experience (incl. cost and time control) and release authorization.
Understanding of budgets and KPIs
PC literate with MS packages Experience in using SAP ERP or equivalent
Demonstrated problem solving and influencing skills
Good level of English (B2 preferred). Must be able to read and understand Engineering data and maintenance tasks in English manuals
Able to speak and write multiple languages: English (mandatory); French or German would be an advantage
