Job Title: Woodworking Specialist
Job Description
Collaborate with a team to fabricate high-quality cabinetry for commercial and institutional projects. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting fabrication issues, and working with various materials to create custom items such as radius walls and teller lines.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints and fabricate wood product
Fabricate radius walls, teller lines, nurse stations, and other items
Work with various materials including particle board, solid surface, laminate, and veneer
Essential Skills
Experience in fabrication
Skill in using hand tools and assembly techniques
Ability to use hand and power tools
Knowledge of blueprint reading
Additional Skills Qualifications
Must be well versed in using standard woodworking tools, such as table saws, stationary and slider saws, routers, and multiple hand tools
Excellent communication skills and a good attitude
Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player
Willingness to work overtime
Experience in cabinet making or woodworking, wood finishing, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Vocational degree in woodworking is helpful

Work Environment
Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 3pm / Friday 6am - 12pm. Exposure to wood dust in a well-ventilated environment. Candidates will be fit for respirators in areas that require them. Ear protection is provided in areas that require them. Safety glasses must be worn at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
