Responsibilities

　　Recent acute care experience required; hematology/oncology or bone marrow transplant experience preferred. This position will have a primary assignment in the infusion room and with the expectation to cross cover into clinic as needed with appropriate training provided. Responsibilities include: chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, central line care, care coordination, and patient education. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be autonomous in decision making, and have excellent assessment skills. Seeking a flexible, team focused professional to join our progressive unit.

　　Qualifications

　　Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

　　Pay Range: $33.00 - $42.90

　　The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
