  About the Team

  Our Global Wellbeing Team is responsible for the development, implementation and measurement of global wellbeing programs for all T&S teams. These are designed to support and promote positive psychological health, as well as healthy working environments, especially for those who work with potentially harmful content and for both in-house teams and business partners.

  As the Lead Wellbeing Specialist, you will review and ensure that programs developed by Wellbeing Regional Specialists meet rigorous ethical standards and are empirically supported. Further, within your role, you will source and identify subject matter experts globally that can aid in research projects to enhance TikTok's knowledge concerning well-being intervention endeavours.

  You will also oversee internal research programs along with having responsibility for the wellbeing technology roadmap for the organisation.

  This is a new opportunity to work with a wide variety of teams both internally and outside the company to provide scalable wellbeing and psychological health solutions, and make strong impacts on the company's growth and the wellbeing of its people.

  Candidates should have a solid background in working as a subject matter expert in employee wellbeing. Strong relationship building skills and the ability to cooperate with multiple stakeholders are also essential.

  What will I be doing?

  - Work with cross-departmental stakeholders to define business questions, requirements, timelines, objectives, and success criteria associated with psychological health research or programming.

  - Along with the Research Team, plan clinical research efforts by creating and executing research designs in a population of interest through project management.

  - Plan research efforts by creating and executing research designs through project management.

  - Educate, develop and mentor a talented team of multidisciplinary Program Specialists.

  - Support and lead the team in the processes for preparation and review of the ethical review board submissions when partnering with university entities.

  - Source key subject-matter experts globally pertinent to specific research endeavours.

  - Cross-collaborate with departments to inform and aid in creating critical technological interventions related to well-being.

  - Provide cover for the Wellbeing leadership as required.

  Qualifications

  What should I bring with me?

  - PhD. or Doctoral Candidate in health psychology, behavioural science or another relevant health behaviour-related field.

  - 5+ years' experience in designing and supporting evidence-based health and wellbeing programs and initiatives in a corporate context.

  - 2+ years' of people management experience.

  - Strong knowledge of program and intervention evaluation methodology.

  - Excellent Research skills

  - Experience providing consultancy on complex topics to a range of stakeholders at all levels within organisations.

  - Ability to self-manage objectives and workload.

  - Willingness to travel (approximately 40% post-COVID)

  Desirable:

  - Trust and Safety experience.

  - Global team management experience.

  - Working knowledge of an outsourced or BPO environment.

  - Prior experience leading research divisions or teams.

  - Experience of independently leading work streams/projects within larger programmes.
