　　What You’ll Do

　　As a Welder, you’ll be part of our manufacturing team located in Akron, Ohio. You’ll get to:

　　Align parts, using jack, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, hammer and fixtures where available.

　　Align and fit components together.

　　Bolt, clamp, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welder to weld, tack (welding).

　　Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.

　　Perform related tasks, such as grinding and / or fabricating.

　　Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, or bolt straps, or bolt parts in positions for welding.

　　Lift, move and hold, or clamp work pieces to table, into jigs, or into position as directed, manually or by using hoist, pry bars, wrenches, hammer, and wedges.

　　Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.

　　Perform any other duties or tasks as may be deemed necessary by the Team Lead or Group Leader.

　　Who You Are

　　High School Diploma or GED preferred.

　　At least 1 year of experience in a welding position in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

　　Prior experience working with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

　　A fundamental understanding and application of safe work practices.

　　A willingness to learn and grow.

　　The ability to weld and fit all items in their value stream.
