　　Job Summary

　　Welders/Fabricators will perform metal fabrication. Pile driving a huge plus. Location: Wateree (Columbia) SC.

　　Essential Functions

　　Reading and understanding blueprints and drawings prior to starting a project.

　　Sourcing the materials needed to complete the work project.

　　Measuring and cutting to specifications.

　　Checking finished work to make sure it falls within the tolerances marked on the prints or drawings.

　　Use tools necessary to perform metal fabrication.

　　Safely use cutting torch, heating, and burning equipment.

　　Safely operate saws, grinders, presses, etc.

　　Follow instructions.

　　Duties may require you to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

　　Required Skills & Experience

　　At least 1 year of welding/fabricating experience.

　　Physical ability to perform assigned tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, climbing, standing, etc.).

　　Must have tools necessary to perform metal fabrication.

　　Knowledge of operating cutting torch, heating, and burning equipment.

　　Knowledge of operating saws, grinders, presses, etc.

　　Must be able to read blueprints and drawings to start a project.

　　Must be able to pass welding test.

　　Must be able to follow instructions.

　　Flexibility to work more than 8 hours a day or night when needed.

　　Flexibility to work more than 5 days a week or weekends when needed.

　　General labor construction skills.

　　Knowledge of operating a variety of other construction equipment and instruments is a plus.
