　　WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

　　The Welder Fabricator is a key position at our Metal Tech facility. Primarily using MIG, TIG and Stick welding, flame-cutting and carbon arc equipment you’ll be working in a metal shop, fabricating access doors for Precast products.

　　Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll primarily work with the welding team, and interact with assembly and yard teams.

　　A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

　　Fabricating metal parts and assemblies by cutting, burning, and welding various metals. Using welding machines, oxy-acetylene torches, plasma cutters, various hand and power tools, cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment.

　　Positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding parts to form complete units.

　　Inspecting completed work for conformance to specifications. Ensuring work products meet specifications, including dimensional criteria, squareness standards, and weld call-outs through personal checking of product.

　　Studying and reviewing production drawings to determine material requirements and task sequences.
