Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Welding metal parts with gas welding equipment as specified by blueprints.Positioning parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.Examining welds for bead size and other specifications.Repairing broken or cracked metal objects, fill holes, and build up metal parts.Laying out, positioning, and tacking weld workpieces.Scarf or groove welding prior to applying filler metal.Chipping or grinding off excess weld, slag, or spatter.Cleaning or degreasing parts.Other duties may be assigned.
Education and Experience:
Preferred:
AWS Certification, orExperience in a high school welding program, orExperience in a technical or trade school welding program.Benefits: (Beginning on 91^st^day one of employment unless stated otherwise)
