Actalent is hiring a Welding Engineer to work at an established Automotive supplier in East, TN. This site does not currently have any other Weld Engineers and is seeking a subject matter expert to assist with welding across their campus.

　　WELDING ENGINEER | CLINTON, TN

　　To program and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment and provide training for operators in addition to assisting in APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning) for new products

　　Program and troubleshoot robotic welders and ancillary equipment

　　Provide operator instruction and training

　　Plan, organize and maintain equipment and process data

　　Maximize production efficiency by reducing equipment downtime

　　Assist Program Engineers at development stage during new product development

　　Develop and implement Continuous Improvement suggestions

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications

　　Individual must be mechanically inclined and good at problem solving

　　Have the ability to plan

　　Possess the technical competence to assess situations on the shop floor and plan accordingly

　　Will require effective communication with associates at all levels of the organization

　　Internal and external customer contact

　　Ability to evaluate weld equipment and make recommendations for new equipment design and purchases

　　Gross and fine motor use will be required for troubleshooting
