　　Description:

　　Our client is looking for a front-end web development contractor to join Prime. You will be responsible for creating HTML, CSS, JS, and React for the retail website. The successful candidate should be experienced working with graphics design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) and converting design mockups to cross browser compatible HTML/CSS and JavaScript.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　-Use design software to create mockups and html prototypes for new features

　　-Build/Code static and dynamic pages from these mockups and additional specifications

　　-Create and manage CSS styles and CSS frameworks

　　-Ensure customer-facing new features meet style requirements

　　-Create code for front-end behaviors with Dynamic HTML

　　-Cross-browser test and troubleshoot site presentation

　　-Develop optimized/cross-platform front-end code in CSS/XHTML, and JavaScript

　　-Develop functional prototypes to demonstrate concepts and to enable rapid iterative support for usability research.

　　-Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and researchers to refine the user experience.

　　-A proven portfolio demonstrating the above skills will be required

　　Understanding state management system of how customers preferences can be moved from one website to other through a state management system.

　　Knowledge and Experience Required:

　　-2-4 years of experience years experience in front-end web development

　　-Browser rendering and cross-browser knowledge

　　-Expert with HTML/XHTML at the hand-coding level.

　　-Expert in CSS for content styling and layout.

　　-Exhibit an understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.

　　-JavaScript skill is preferred

　　-Able to operate in a Linux environment

　　Skills and Abilities Required:

　　-Expert with a major design application (Fireworks or Photoshop)

　　-Expert XHTML/CSS for cross-browser rendering

　　-User Interface design and diagramming

　　-JavaScript to add behaviors to otherwise static pages

　　-Semantic coding with CSS/XHTML

　　Someone who stands out

　　Marketing experience, web development

　　Cross functional experience

　　People who has worked for enterprise companies (not freelance work or only school)
