Full-Time Energy Technician position to work throughout Essex County installing energy conservation measures to homes which are eligible to receive services. Qualifications include carpentry skills, basic computer skills, highly motivated, self-starter, good organizational skills; demonstrate the ability to perform all tasks and have responsible work habits. MUST have a valid NYS Drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be able to travel and accept any training for this position. Must be 18 years of age. Must have: Experience helpful in whole house energy conservation such as general air sealing, installing replacement windows/doors, installing and blowing insulation in attic and sidewalls, and general home repairs. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance. High School Diploma/GED Required. BPI training provided.
