　　Who will you be working with?

　　Wabtec Enterprise Architecture is focused to support and help achieve two primary goals of Wabtec EA – one, further improve our alignment around IT strategy and two, to optimize our technology portfolio to deliver more value to the Wabtec business.

　　The Wabtec Enterprise Architecture team works with its counterparts in business, applications, data and information, technology infrastructure and security to optimize technology portfolio to deliver maximum value to the Wabtec business. It collaborates regularly with its counterparts both in IT and Business to improve IT strategy alignment to Wabtec’s business goals and objectives. Wabtec EA (WEA) to consist of five important and inter-related ‘Wabtec EA Domains’ (BAITS) - Business, Application, Information (Data), Technology and Security.

　　How will you make a difference?

　　As a member of the Wabtec Enterprise Architecture team, you will be responsible for EA Portfolio Planning. As EA Portfolio Planning lead, focus for this role is to develop strategies, plans and actionable recommendations and roadmaps to optimize our technology portfolio including applications, data, infrastructure, and security to deliver

　　more value to Wabtec business. Key area is to rationalize and simplify our technology portfolio to drive cost optimization and reduce duplicate/overlapping assets that have grown overtime. As an Enterprise Architect specializing in enterprise portfolio strategy and planning, you will ensure that the company's technology portfolio and direction are aligned with its strategic goals.

　　What do we want to know about you?

　　· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA preferred.

　　· Minimum five years of experience supporting the development of technology portfolios.

　　· Experience developing technology strategy documents.

　　· Ability to provide strategic and tactical input to senior members of the EA team.

　　· Ability to work in a collaborative setting with multiple stakeholder viewpoints.

　　· Ability to develop business cases at multiple levels of detail.

　　· Familiarity with Agile Methodology.

　　· Proficiency in Microsoft Visio or similar tool.

　　· Proficiency in productivity tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

　　· Familiarity with design thinking concepts and tools.

　　· Exposure to cloud computing and emerging technologies.

　　· Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF.

　　· Familiarity with IT governance and risk management.

　　· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

　　What will your typical day look like?

　　· Work with business and IT stakeholders to review existing technology portfolio (BAITS Domains) and develop ideas, recommendations, and roadmaps for future state.

　　· Develop compelling business cases to drive change to simplify portfolio and reduce risks and costs.

　　· Track and report on the performance of an enterprise technology portfolio.

　　· Work on developing and maintaining Enterprise Architecture strategies, such as technology roadmaps, reference architectures, standards and guidelines.

　　· Participate in meetings with the Enterprise Architecture team and other stakeholders to discuss progress on projects and identify any potential roadblocks.

　　· Contribute to the development of Wabtec's IT strategy.

　　· Provide training and support to Wabtec employees on Enterprise Architecture principles and practices.

　　· Stay up to date on the latest trends in Enterprise Architecture by reading industry publications, attending conferences, and participating in online forums.

　　· Conduct research and analysis on emerging technologies to assess their potential impact on Wabtec's business especially related to portfolio planning and strategy.

　　· Potentially represent Wabtec at industry events and conferences.
