　　The City of Coffeyville is seeking applications for the positionofWater Apprentice Utility 1st Yearin the Water DistributionDepartment. Position duties include: assist in construction, maintenanceand repair of water lines; respond to leaks and calls after hours andweek-ends; operate all types of equipment needed for maintaining andrepairing water lines. Ability to work outside in extreme conditions;medium to heavy lifting. Class A CDL license or ability to obtain one isrequired with driving record that meets insurance requirements. Mustcomplete apprentice bookwork and on the job training to achievejourneyman certification. Must pass background check, physical and drugtest. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

　　Starting pay is\$17.64/hour with opportunities for overtime, along withexcellent benefit and retirement package.Applicants must be willing tomeet the City of Coffeyville residency requirement within six months, tolive in the State of Kansas within twenty-five miles of City Hall, 102W. 7th St., Coffeyville, Kansas.
