Carlisle Companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Warranty Accountant to join their team at their HQ location of Carlisle Construction Materials, in Carlisle, PA. As the Warranty Accountant you will classify, record and review data to keep financial records complete. You will provide consolidation, accounting, and analytical support for the organization; assist with month-end financial statements, analysis, account reconciliations, warranty accounting, and quarterly reporting requirements.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Responsible for driving efficiency related to all aspects of warranty accounting:

　　Communication and alignment with warranty team

　　Implement warranty accounting policies for new acquisitionsEntire process from recording sale to accounting for potential warranty claimsDeferred revenue (ASC606)Reconciliation of warranty claims and sales detailAssist in monthly forecast and annual operating planManages product liability reserveMonthly journal entry preparation and postingAnalyze month-end financial statementsComplete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations assuring documentation supports balancePreparation of Electronic Audit Evidence (EAE) documentation for compliancePreparation of support for internal and external auditsCorporate reporting requirements including rollforwards, insurance updates, and apportionmentsEducation & Experience Requirements:

　　BS Degree in Accounting

　　Experience:

　　3-5 years of public / private accounting experience

　　Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

　　Essential Full Performance Knowledge:

　　General Accepted Accounting Principles

　　Financial statement preparation and analysisAwareness of Sarbanes-Oxley Act and internal control requirements

　　Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
