Summary: Coordinate activities of workersconcerned with picking, packing, receiving, shipping, delivery,inventory, counter sales, and/or cycle count functions. Perform allwarehouse duties, including picking/packing, loading trucks, cuttingwire, general clean up, receiving product into system, and/or productput away. Minimum & Preferred Requirements High School Diploma orequivalent Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. Related picking/packing or generalwarehouse experience a plus. Basic computer and math skills required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identify and prioritize workloadin area(s) of responsibility and assign team members to completeworkload. Ensure that customer orders are processed in an accurate andtimely manner. Issue written and oral instructions. Assign duties andexamine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies andprocedures. Examine procedures and make recommendations to improveefficiency. Advise team members on care and preservation of items anduse of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock.Assist employees with work process problems. Create team atmosphere andresolve complaints; seek guidance or assistance from manager if unableto resolve. Communicate company information to team members asapplicable. Follow OSHA guidelines and maintain safe work environment.Prepare Report of First Injury within 24 hours of applicable events.Address errors and complaints. Read customer orders, packing slips,transfers, and RGAs to determine items to be moved, gathered, ordistributed. Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storageor to other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items onracks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence. Assemblecustomer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves orconvey orders to packing station or shipping department. Pack and verifycustomer orders.
