This position is part of the Warehouse Department located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site . At Aldevron, w e combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Warehouse Management team and report to the Sr. Manager, Warehouse . This role will be on first shift (7am-4pm) and supporting a local team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage and direct oversi ght of all associates within the warehousing department. Including hiring, training, coaching, safety/PPE adherence, documenting, and performance management.
Responsible for identifying and proposing resource requirements within the department, this includes but is not limited to supplies, personnel, and equipment. Coordinate a schedule of operations for picking/ pulling raw material pull lists based on event prioritization / resources.
Effectively and professionally communicate with clients and internal department personnel regarding incoming and outgoing raw materials. Ensure accurate inventory controls and full traceability of inventory within the warehouse including cycle count frequency and accuracy. Ensure accuracy of data in the ERP system including location, quantity on hand, value, etc.
Participate in establishing and maintaining department performance metrics to report to Management. Assist in inspection and audit responses support as required to the QA aud it team. Assists with Department Cold Storage Unit alarm response and review of out of specification investigations
Monitor and report on performance and drive continuous improvement activities. Proactively lead the team to continuously improve processes and procedures through DBS fundamentals and programs.
Create procedures and reporting for the effective management of inventory. Perform data entry and review of documents for accuracy in accordance with standard operating procedures. Review , revise, create and update standard operating procedures (SOP) as assigned .
The essential requirements of the job include:
1 or more years of experience in inventory management required.
1 year supervisory experience.
High School diploma required
Knowledge of ERP software systems.
Ability to prioritize workload according to changing business needs.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in a regulated environment.
college degree (associates/bachelors)
