ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
As an EWASTE+ Production Manager you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and supporting work cell production and warehouse operations. EWASTE+ operations include Shipping and Receiving, Product Sorting, Asset Management Services, Demanufacturing, Product Testing, Inventory Control, and Packaging. The Production Manager will work with the entire operations team and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and practices for operational excellence.

Motivates, inspires, and develops direct reports in accordance with EWASTE+ mission, vision, and values.
Ability to focus on day-to-day functions while also continually developing and implementing long-term material management plans for a rapidly changing environment.
Scheduling and Coordination of product flow and process for incoming material.
Monitors the progress and work flow of facility personnel, resolves challenges whenever possible, and reports progress or needs to management.
Travels to consolidation facilities in Albany and Westchester counties to provide support and direction to ensure optional operation.
Reviews data and identifies needs or trends. Adjusts activities and resources based on fluctuating internal and external customer requirements.
Generates clear and concise reports indicating overall functional performance of work cells and team members.
Analyzes and presents relevant data and findings during regular meetings with supply chain teams and management.
Develops and implements plans, programs, and procedures as determined by supply chain teams and management.
Maximizes commodity and product generation through continuous improvement, resource management, applying lean manufacturing concepts, and collaboration with Operations Supervisors.
Maintains work instruction and record accuracy through regular process evaluations and verifications.
Ensures product and commodity quality by coordinating regular product inspections and developing process improvements based on customer requirements and feedback.
Monitors and maintains supplies, tools, and equipment while maximizing usage and minimizing costs.
Offers assistance and instruction to employees as needed.
Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly manner while maximizing warehouse space and product\supply placement.
Reports and documents emergency situations to management immediately.
Trains new employees on supply chain functions and maintains current training records for all direct reports.
Supports the Product and Commodity Sales Departments.
Salary Range:$55,000-$90,000

Position Requirements
Specific Skills:
Associates Degree AA or equivalent and relevant experience
Minimum of 4 years Supervisory experience
Strong understanding and experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, production, and manufacturing.
Proficient with Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; and Microsoft Outlook.
Ability to travel to regional consolidation facilities in Albany and Westchester counties.
Meticulously Organized and Detail Oriented.
Lean Manufacturing Training or Experience
Lean Manufacturing Green Belt or Black Belt Certified is a Plus.
Experience using a variety of material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts and platform scales
