We are looking for a Warehouse Manager supporting our Mequon, WI manufacturing facility.Job Summary:The purpose of the Warehouse Manager is to provide leadership, manage daily manufacturing operations, and drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and Cost Improvements that will add value to the Mequon facility. Additional responsibility includes: planning and administering procedures and budgets. Making budgetary recommendations regarding and, at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Developing schedules and personnel requirements for assigned warehousing operations. Selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation.Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Management of warehouse staff and team across multiple shiftsMaintain and enforce safe work practices.Select and hire employees and provide on-going performance monitoring.Establish and implement employee training and development programs and schedules.Execute company policies and procedures with respect to disciplinary policies.Perform resource planning requirements and scheduling of work hours and time off requests.Administer and maintain employee time at work records and systems.Receive predetermined assignments subject to a moderate level of control and review.Communicate daily production requirements and set targets based upon capacity.Plan and coordinate production order transitions and inventory transactions within the Plant between shifts and between manufacturing departments.Communicate production order status, warehouse daily priorities and results at frequent intervals.Accountable for safety, quality, customer delivery, and productivity improvement objectives.Lead continuous improvement projects, i.e. Kaizen events, A3 Projects.Understand and maintain complex manufacturing order management systems related to material movement.LeadershipFacilitate warehousing tea
