T HE ROLE : The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse facility . In this role, the incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials, optimizing inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment . Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Supervise and lead a team of Cycle Counters and Inventory Analysts, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Oversee receiving, storing, and dispatching of products while maintaining proper inventory levels.
Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate inventory records through the perpetual cycle counting program and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
Implement inventory optimization strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely restocking of inventory.
Monitor and report on inventory turnover, shrinkage, and damages.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the warehouse.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
Streamline workflows and optimize space utilization to maximize storage capacity.
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Excellent communication skills.
Strong Excel and MRP background.
Problem solving, project planning, and risk management skills.
3-5 yrs of experience in inventory management or supply chain management.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business or related field plus experience above, or equivalent total experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Participate in an environment focused on continuous improvement & teamwork as it relates to site performance to improve customer satisfaction.DAY IN THE LIFE:
In this role, the working environment is a warehouse environment. Some safety protocols and PPE may be required. The physical demands may include but not limited to regularly sitting, standing, lifting up to 35 pounds etc.
SALARY:
The estimated salary range at this professional level is $80,000 to $90,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
