PositionOverview The Warehouse Associate I will assist in a variety of MaterialsManagement or Operations functions including incoming material receiptand inspection, inventory cycle counting, SAP inventory management,internal inventory requests, shipping, receiving, and distribution ofgoods and supplies. The Warehouse Associate I will provide support toongoing process and method development, characterization and validationand assist in production activities including labeling and packaging.The position will work within defined protocols and procedures and maydevelop and document new procedures for Materials Management. EssentialDuties Include but are not limited to the following: Receive, inspectand verify incoming materials. Follow applicable SOPs for the processingof materials in SAP and through the Receiving Inspection system. Labelmaterials accordingly. Contact appropriate person/department withreceipt details as applicable. Place materials in inventory, delivergoods or coordinate pickup of materials. Troubleshoot and resolveinventory and receipt discrepancies, coordinating with procurement andfinance teams for resolution. Initiate freight claims process bydocumenting all problems noticed in the initial inspection. Thedocumentation may include pictures, notations on Bill of Ladings,driver\'s notation and notations on packing slips. May initiateNonconforming Material Reports and ensure nonconforming materials areappropriately labeled and segregated. Follow through to ensure finaldisposition is completed and documentation is closed. May initiateprocess improvements following the required change control processes,and coordinates activities across departments. This will include theReceiving Inspection Method document (RIM) review. Facilitate shipmentof outgoing materials or products through the coordination of inventoryand paperwork.
