PositionSummary: Perform a variety of domestic and international shipping andreceiving tasks. Compare and verify identifying information/shippingrecords on incoming or outgoing shipments with bills of lading,invoices, orders or other records. Verify that materials received are asordered in both type and quantity, and maintain related files andrecords. May route incoming items to appropriate departments, storeroomsor other locations. May prepare appropriate documentation for domesticor international shipments. Maintain all shipping records. Thisindividual picks and/or packs and prepares product for shipment asspecified in the customer order and in accordance with division policiesand procedures. Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping ofall products, stock and custom. Responsible for the reporting accuracyof all shipping transactions in SAP. Reports any shipping relatedproblems as they occur to the Group Leader. Supports goals of continuousimprovement by serving on ad hoc committees and/or teams as required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Packs and prepares product forshipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance withdivision policies and procedures. 2. Responsible for the complete andaccurate shipping of all products. 3. Responsible for reporting accuracyof all shipping transactions in SAP. 4.
