Description Robert Half is seeking a candidate for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is able to start asap. Located in Louisville, Kentucky, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

　　What you get to do every day

　　Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

　　Conduct full-cycle A/P

　　Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

　　Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

　　Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

　　Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

　　Assist with internal and external audits as needed

　　Execute additional tasks as needed Requirements - Experience with Invoice Processing

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

　　Purchase Orders experience preferred

　　Enter Vendor Invoices experience

　　Excel Formulas experience

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

　　Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
