About Warehouse Associate

  The role of a Warehouse employee is responsible for the safe handling of Adams Beverages Products in the warehouse. Warehouse Assignments require the candidate to perform duties such as truck loading, un-loading, receiving, replenishing, counting inventory, and dock management. The Warehouse employee must understand all company policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the Shift Warehouse Mangers, Director of Operations, VPs Branch Managers and Ownership.They are also expected to clean and maintain various locations of the warehouse and offices as assigned. Some Roles include experience with forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment to handle product. Thisis a non-exempt position. Roles are assigned based on experience and performance.

  Primary Objectives and Responsibilities:

  These responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to:

  Attendance ExpectationsWork Schedule - must be flexibleMultiple Shifts Available4 Day and 5 Day Work WeeksNeat and Clean AppearanceProfessionalismCommunicationPositive AttitudePerform warehouse duties, such as truck loading, order picking/building, inventory management, etc.Ability to perform WMS (Warehouse Management System) functions using technology (iPod / iPad handheld)Safe and Proper Operation of forklift and/or walkie-rider is requiredMaintain all certification required to operate said equipmentEnsure loads are built and loaded accurately in a timely mannerLoad and unload delivery trucksProper stock rotation according to Anheuser Busch policy in the warehouse and on the delivery trucksUphold appearance and sanitation of facilitySafe and Careful handling of all inventoryPrepare and sort damaged product for repackPreserve general maintenance of equipmentReport any and all safety concerns immediatelyContinued education programs as requiredEncompass TrainingABU Curriculum (on-line training)Safety compliance knowledgeProduct Knowledge (Styles, Categories, etc.)Solid Understanding of the total product portfolio (brands and packages)```{=html}

  Minimum of High School Diploma or GEDPhysical Demands

  These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the job.

  While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl. The employee has to be able to carry and lift 50lbs frequently and up to 165 lbs. at a moderate frequency.

  This position can be modified to accommodate light duty requests in form and function. The ability to do so does not guarantee light duty accommodation and will be assigned only when available based on Company needs.

  While performing the duties of this job in the office environment, the employee is Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. These conditions may vary, and the employee will receive adequate training to recognize and avoid hazards that cannot be described as expected. Noise levels will range from moderate to loud.
