Responsibilities: Receive and count stock items, andrecord data manually or using computer; Pack and unpack items to bestocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards; Verifyinventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock,and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors; Store items in anorderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms,or other areas; Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, andstorage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations;Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting anydamage to supervisors; Provide assistance or direction to otherstockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers; Accurately process,package and prepare parts orders for delivery to customers and Fabicktechnicians;Keep an orderly, clean, and safe work environment;Completion of all safety and training courses as required; Perform otherduties as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.1-3 years warehouse experience preferred. 1-3 years forklift and scannerexperience preferred. Forklift certification a plus. Candidate must beattentive to detail. Basic computer skills required. Mechanical aptitudeis a plus. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of thisjob, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employeefrequently is required to sit for long periods, stand, walk, bend andstoop to perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally liftand/or move up to 20 pounds.
