　　Job Description

　　Category/Shift :

　　Candidates Must Be Able To Work the Following Shifts, Monday-Saturday:

　　Day Shift - 7:00am - 3:00pm

　　Swing Shift - 3:00pm - 11:00pm

　　Graveyard Shift - 11:00pm - 7:00am

　　The Job You Will Perform:

　　Running bag manufacturing machines

　　Counting and stacking finished product

　　Reading factory orders

　　Accurately reading gauges, other test equipment and measuring

　　Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting equipment

　　Minor troubleshooting and replace wear parts of equipment

　　Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions

　　This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.

　　SAFETY:

　　You are responsible for a safe manufacturing operation. The goal for injuries is 0.

　　Always properly wear required PPE.

　　When palletizing bales bend your knees and keep your back straight

　　Report to management any safety concerns.

　　Report any injury or cuts immediately to your supervisor.

　　Pick up all paste and glue spills from floor immediately.

　　No Horseplay.

　　QUALITY:

　　Insure all bales meet customer requirements including UPC code, item number, bag count and customers name if required.

　　Check bales for tightness. Communicate to operator/tender if bales are too loose.

　　Make sure that the print on the bale is dark and can clearly be read.

　　Notify machine operator/tender, lead or supervisor of any product that has not met correct manufacturing specifications.

　　Check run order to make sure that the correct pallet type is being used and configured properly.

　　Pallets should be stacked neatly and square.

　　Use the proper labels for product when labeling is required

　　HOUSEKEEPING:

　　“Clean as you go” Don’t leave it for later.

　　Maintain a clean environment around your work area.

　　After blow down floor should be thoroughly swept and all trash removed from floor.

　　All waste cans should be emptied.

　　Keep paste underneath press off the floor.

　　PRODUCTIVITY:

　　Keeping machine line clear.

　　Cross check with operators to ensure customer requirements are met in regard to palletization.

　　The Skills You Will Bring:

　　Counting and stacking finished product

　　Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs

　　Physical ability to stand 8 to 12 hours

　　Reading factory orders
