Description Our reputable client is seeking a Director of Finance to join the company. The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. 　　Major responsibilities

　　Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions

　　Oversee all hiring aspects of finance staff, including training and retention

　　Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and outlooks

　　Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models

　　Propose benchmarks for analyzing financial and operating performance

　　Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

　　Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department

　　Manage the organizational structure of the department in order to achieve goals and objectives

　　Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

　　Create and manage five-year business plans along with department managers

　　Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

　　Prepare financial analysis for product investment decisions and contract negotiations

　　Supervise all financial reporting preparation

　　Take ownership of insurance and risk management Requirements - MBA or CPA is preferred

　　Very detail oriented and expert analytical thinking skills

　　Expert understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

　　10+ years of accounting and finance experience

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

　　Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills

　　Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems
