Description

　　Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. 　　Responsibilities

　　Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

　　Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions

　　Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

　　Take ownership of insurance and risk management

　　Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department

　　Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans

　　Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts and outlooks

　　Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

　　Evaluate and sustain forecasting and budgeting models

　　Supervise all financial reporting preparation

　　Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions

　　Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff

　　Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

　　Adhere to local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements

　　The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000.

　　Requirements

　　MBA or CPA is preferred

　　Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, accounting, and finance principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

　　10+ years of accounting and finance experience

　　Experience with multiple financial and accounting reporting systems

　　Strong analytical thinking and a detail-oriented mindset

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

　　Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
